A Hybrid Buck model, including photorealistic reference to Springbok, Impala and Thomson’s Gazelle. The polycount has been kept to a minimum to allow for easy editing, making the model perfectly suitable for a wide range of outputs beyond photorealistic rendering and realtime applications.
Originally created in Blender the source files provided can be used to render outputs such as those in the product description including fur, materials and lighting.
The realtime model and rig have also been exported to fbx and tested in Maya 2015, along with the high resolution sculpt data consisting of millions of polygons. Materials, fur and lighting will need to be recreated in Maya, however multiple high resolution 4K texture maps such as Diffuse, Normal and Masking Maps make it easy to reproduce these renderings and output versatile results.
Across all 3D applications the realtime model is constructed with careful consideration for the edge-loop placement comprising it’s topology. It is a single object with minimal distortion in non-overlapping UV’s. Consisting primarily of quadrangles and a few triangles (which are situated in generally occluded areas), this model will deform predictably during animation and has an FK rig with painted weights that can be used ‘out the box’ for posing.
